Linkara Capital and Linkara Accountants have sponsored the Newcastle Italian Film Festival since its inception 10 years ago.
In 2019 the Italian Film Festival raised $8,500 for the Motor Neurone Disease. A cheque was presented at Napoli Centrale Pizza in Newcastle earlier this year.
The event has been running for 10 years largely through the efforts of Nick Moretti, his wife Helen and a small group of volunteers. Nick founded the event with his close friend Dino Cesta, who sadly died of MND four years ago.
